Got to say that the best tyers will pick this to bits, but I like it and reckon it will fish nicely. A great fly you've tied there, a killer anywhere.
Have you had any luck with the traditionals you've been tying so far this year?
I'm following your posts, keep tying and progressing, looking good!

That needs picked to pieces sorry about the vice what happened that it done that strange for a Scottie did you get much use from it considering a new one like the j vice not as dear as i thought but the problem with rotary vices and classics for me is getting correct hand position for wings lot of the guys rec the anvil apex,hnh are great vices mates had one for nearly 20 yrs still going evrntually when i get them scaled down and probably start doing proper mixed wings will i start to fish some for the now hobby in a hobby learning better skills and controls

Braw does the T&L not just have a bronze mallard wing and J/C Braw all the same and better than i could do, keep posting them

The original irish is all bronze mallard i believe,this is the pryce tannat version from his book, also ommitted herl head which i done a couple of times but i felt it didnt look nice and wasted the look of the fly
