When Hardy started their sintrex pr I thought it was just that. Hype over function.
I've not found a Hardy double hander that I would buy, so was not a fan until now.
I played with one today and it isn't, it does give you more design opportunities.
How many times do you find a rod that will cast a skagit, Shooting head, mid Spey and long belly? A few Rods will, but how many can you say do each equally well? That's a little harder to find.
The 15'1 does, so I'll be eating my words, "it's all pr".
Try one and see.

At the Stirling Angling Centre day with Hardy at Bangour. Ian Gordon was on form and Steven Reid was a great host.
The finish is the usual, similar to the swift and Angel. It's a pastel olive green, it could have been a little more vibrant.
The handles are traditional like the Swift or thicker with a ball bottom on it for the Faster rods.
I don't like the 15' Swift, but the Zenith does the lot, very impressive.
Pleasantly surprised with it, the shorter double handers are nice, the lightness of them stands out.
Hopefully I'll get to fish them on the Devron next week.
