MK,
They were intended for the river but they would do in the loch as well. The Claret Dabbler tied in usual trout style is a great loch fly for salmon and trout. Always an underrated colour on the river, don't know why?

BnC They look as if they'll work on both, not sure why some don't like claret but I really like it especially that nice black/claret that is hard to get:)

Belters they are Brian I use one almost identical to the first fly for seatrout on needle tubes they all look like fish catchers. I do like the claret one and the yellow one. keep them coming. P.s Love the photo studio ;D ;D
