Won't comment on the quality bit but regarding size; none, the Tay is a much bigger river, the Tummel would be more comparable in size BnC

Just looking at Upper Farleyer. Looks nice for a few days fishing and other things to see and do with Jackie and Olivia Castles and town, etc. If it gets me up there I'll be happy Must fish the Tay...Must fish the Tay...Must fish the Tay...Must fish the Tay... Ade

Fished Benchill/Pitlochrie beats at Stanley yesterday for the first time.
I was starting to look for the RNLI when we were in the boat and halfway across the river.
Essential to take Distress Flares as well as a Lifejacket, I'd say!!
It is a truly awesome and inspiring place. I would recommend fishing it at some point in your angling career as there are some good runs where you can easily fish the fly in the water.
When a good time to fish it is a different matter as it can be affected by high water.

Ade Its a beautiful beat with a nice variety of pools and the catches are not bad for how lightly fished it is.
