Found this pattern on speygillies site and is one from Duncans flamethrower series. I thought I'd tie a few to trial next year. rear body-opal mirage rear hackle-yellow cock(webby if you can find one ) wing-yellow/orange bucktail mix with a couple of bits krystal flash then overlaid with a few strands black acrtic fox front body-black floss or thread hackle-orange cock front hackle-blue cock JC pearl tinsel head

Love em they look great especially with the blue reflecting against the pearly head they look good enough to eat
I'm wondering if Blue Guinea fowl wound instead of blue hackle would look as good.

Cracking tying. I seen Duncan tying a similar with a red hackle under the blue one, looks superb in coloured water

Cracking flies MK I know this fly by another name, but as martin has stated, it accounted for a few newtyle fish this year works just as well in clear water, as it does in coloured water
