Our FishDee Megastore is now open with all transactions providing donations to the River Dee, which helps restoration projects for improving our salmon stocks. We need your help and support to make this new collaborative venture a success. So I am calling on anglers in Europe to support this worthy cause and make a purchase online. Every penny counts so please try our new megastore where there are guest contributors who write about our River and what tackle they choose to use. Go to www.fishdeemegastore.com to find out more.

Cargillion, other TDSFB members, and any others please take note;
Ken Reid and I have had our differences on a few topics but what is happening on the Dee just now should put every other river in Scotland to shame. Dee Dram, Dee Megastore et als, et als. When are the remaining "big" rivers going to wake up and smell the coffee. The time is here to get anglers on the river, if that means dropping prices then fine, do it. The Spey is under pressure and the Tweed will be next can we afford to sit back ? The Tay is struggling for rods on the so-called top beats also.

Well done Ken - To paraphrase Falkus - Marksmen can hit targets but genius hits targets that people cannot even see - Great to see you are continuing to hit the jackpot whan it comes to innovation in promoting the Dee. Onwards and upwards !!!!

Just heard that a better known beat was struggling to fill rods two or three weeks ago and offering rods at vastly reduced prices.

I would be interested to know which beat that is, as far as I know all well run beats are fully let.
