Out practising today,and was really getting the hang of it,was managing to shoot the marker out about 10/12 feet from the rod tip  Never managed that before,i was lucky to be getting a couple of feet with the Demon. Wasent turning it over as well as i would like every time but thats the next focus  . Am fair happay with ma sell so thought i would tell you lot  aswell ;D

jM full spey,15ft sinking tip on the new monty,changed to the 10ft tip and was about the same marker was a wee bit further out.

Should be a good combination  Did you try it with a 10ft floating tip then a 15ft sinking tip on the end of that?

A am a beginer but this set up is miles better than the 15ft demon i had before,very happay with it,it's a bit slower action and a bit heavier but both suit me. No havent tried that yet,will get there though
