Good start Ken. How does this start compare to 2009? kf The opening day catches have been amended as there were some kelts added in error by a reporting beat-this has been put right today. There were 27 fish caught on opening day last year and 18 that I know of for yesterday. Its been a colder winter this year which ,may have held some fish back from entering the system etc and there was some grue yesterday. Little Blackhall has had 3 today with Tony and Billy doing the biz again and Martin catching one.

Tony needs to be writing a book - he is very prolific at winkling out the dee salmon

I'm not surprised that there were less fish on opening day this year ! Did you see Billy Connolly's outfit? He'd have scared every fish in the river that caught site of him.
