Martin I cant wait, so looking forward to the fishing. Last year were were bathed in amazing sunshine and a perfect river. Two guys with the river just for themselves, great.
Hopefully a few more trips in the pipeline this year as well as the South Esk at Kintrockett(I think thats how it was spelt, been there enough times).

Well I arrived at the river with my bro and with 2ft 8" on the gauge and clarity of about 12" we new the first day would be hard. After having a slash to the fly on the dangle hopes were high as the river was dropping all the time. Good to see Kenny Graham the bailiff checking the water and had a good chat about the river. Dougie was also up for a chat again. Back to the fishing and Jim had a great time and I left after 3 days with a zero.Where I went wrong I don't know same flies as Jim because I tied them !! also same set up etc but that's fishing I suppose But not deterred that's how fishing goes and we both had a great time for nearly 3 days, the IPA beer at Foxtons was great and we had quite a few. Hopefully I will be back later in the season as that was my first blank on the Whiteadder since fishing the beat. sewinfly........... Well done Jim

With no more fish on the banking we made our way to the Whiteadder for the last few hours of the day, again plenty of fish were showing all over the river after a few hours on the river, I connected with this silver 10 pound hen fish that fell to a size 8 double shrimp fly. Weighed and released back to the river. sewinfly...............
