Right guys it's that time again. It's a wee bit late for a January comp, so we will put this in place for feb. Giving you all loads of time to come up with your killer pattern. The usual rules apply for the foxy-tails comp. The fly MUST contain at least 1 material from the foxy-tails range. The fly must be given a name. A picture along with the a full list of tying materials, to be posted on the thread. At the end of the month a poll will be run for 2 weeks to decide the winner. The winner will receive a fabulous tying prize from the Foxy-tails range. Happy tying and good luck

To bolster numbers I will enter this. It has already appeared in the step by step section, hope this is ok? Black and Yellow wiggle tube, now named 'Sula's Swagger' A step by step is provided in the relevant section. Briefly the dressing consists of; Head Fly. Cone head tubing and liner, large brass coloured Tungsten cone head. Silver fox fur dyed black (From Foxy Tails) Yellow arctic fox (Free sample from foxy tails when above was purchased) ! Thin mirage tinsel. Black and yellow badger hackle. Jungle cock Junction - soft black extension tubing. Tail Fly Size 6 up eyed double. Black silver fox Yellow temple dog hair (Bought from Turriff Tackle a few years ago - sadly no longer available) Yellow crystal flash Cheers Fenton

I will enter my Black n Green Conehead TD. Tube: Green Eumer Tubing. Tag: Oval Silver Tinsel. Butt: Fluoro Green floss. Tail: Chartreuse Fluoro Fibre Rear Body: Holo Silver Flat Tinsel. Front Body: Black Peacock Ice Dub dubbing, palmered with Chartreuse Badger cock hackle. Rib: Oval Silver tinsel. Wing: 1st - Green Arctic fox,with Rainbow Wing n Flash over. 2nd - Green Arctic Fox with Pearl Green Angel Hair over. 3rd Black silver fox with 2 strands of Peacock Black Krinkle Mirror Flash over the top. Hackles: Highlander Green Cock Hackle, tied in after the 1st wing. Black Schlappen tied in after 2nd wing. Cheeks: jungle cock. Head: Fluoro Green conehead.
