Here is a nice Nith brownie I caught in flood water this year while fly fishing for salmon. It took a big monkey tied on a salar Double

troot on the nith are nice, but not to be ignored are the wonderful greyling caught every winter. after the trout seasons finished there is no better place to go for a good days grayling fishing. at midnithsdale and bargarg there is 2 to 2 and a half pound fish caught daily . so if you can brave the weather and get out your bed early enough catch the river just right you,ll not find a better place in scotland.
