Scanny You want about 29grams for the rod what i would do is weigh the tip you want to use on the line and cut that weight from the front end which will be about 5ft or so the afs line are light at the front, there no for cutting as they will turn over 10ft polys as is try and be patient n wait on the right line, but anyway no seen ye for a while how you getting on?, the next cast line i have is good for the big rod i was castin 40yds consistently the day with a #8 wincutter tip on the front and turnover was minted it,s just like a shootinghead for casting but you have a 68ft head. that was with the 15ft stinger i did have a few further casts with it next time i,am using it i was thinking of using it on a more flexable spey rod but it goes oot . Hi I was trying the next cast lines this week and all I can say is they are very good, they are just the heads even the long fall favourites they need a seperate running line attached but there is great versatility in that never mind the saving of money on spare spools, with this system you can have one reel loqding with a decent running line fish a classic mid or longer belly spey head and then change to a winter authority and fish heavy tips in the deeper/faster parts of the pool .I tried the 10 foot monteith tips and they turned very well on wa line.
Pms replied to if people would like to try them please just send the postage and packaging cost to me, rather then pay pal with a letter as this is how I arranged to do it for simon, its nowt to do with trust just easier that way for me, i can keep a track of where the lines are then for simon from nextcast. All the best Corrib
