Flies so far arelooking good. Love the big Throat on your flies,Kingfisher. Mr Salar won't be able to miss them at all! tb Thats the idea TB. You stick to your predictable Munroes KF There's nothing predictable about my Pink, Green and Blue Munro's Killer variants! Great for dusk! tb

Having a wee trial tonight before I get down to it tomorrow. Am thinking of doing a Munro with an Orange Tail The plain one without a tail has probably caught as many as most other popular flies but I always liked this one for use when there was a bit of colour in the water. Any feedback before I tie the rest, please? tweedbunnet

Heres the "BlackYin" I've done for the swap.As you will notice the flee is almost all black ....... ....in places The proper all black that I made was bollocks :oPlease note, the heeds are fairly small for a 5 inch flee and that the AF is from the same batch that Kenny used for his I think these are probably Temple Dogs, the long hair is from a goat apparantly

Posted mine yesterday but missed the collection so flies should be with Dave by Tuesday Ended up doing the bog standard Munro's Killer with a nod towards some modernity. Here's my dressing: Hook - Size 6 Standard Double Thread - Black UTC 70 Tag - Oval Gold Body - Black Floss Rib - Oval Gold Throat - Orange Hackle Fibres overlaid with Blue Guinea Fowl Underwing - Yellow Calf Hair with two strands of Hot Yellow Krystal Flash on top Overwing - Black Squirrel with two strands of Black Mobile on top Head - Three coats Sally Hansen I think it is a great fly as I caught my first Salmon on a Fly Rod with it. Use it any time when you would be moving on to an Intermediate, Sink Tip or Floating line. I prefer to try it on duller days when the sun is threatening to break through. Many like it after a Spate when the water is still higher but running off. tweedbunnet
