So far there are just over 30 different patterns listed. 13 have been picked more once. The most popular is the Greenwells Glory being picked 6 times. Hares ear flies as a group are popular. Woodcock and H Lug once; hares ear thrice (I don't think I've used the word "thrice" before) and Waddams H Lug once. Six picks in all. Partridge flies are next; P & Orange thrice and P & Yellow twice. March Brown, Black Pennel, Pheasant Tail Nymph, Klinkhammer, were all picked three times. Blue Winged Olive, Kate McLaren, Griffiths Gnat, Alder and the ubiquitous Black Spider all picked twice. Everything else has been picked once. So if you are wondering what to fill your fly box with the above list would be a good starting point. I might give it a go, just to be on the safe side - every one needs their security blanket , I'd add; Starling Tip, Blae and Hare Lug, Hen Blackie, Partridge and Gold, Dark Olive, Sherry Spinner, ........... I'll stop there ;D

Ace of Spades (Great for either browns or sea trout, and of course those damned bows!)
Alexandra (One of the first ever flies to be banned because of the amount of fish it caught!)
Cochybondu (Another little fly that can be just as deadly as others that are larger.)
As others have stated its pity that its only three flies thats allowed, as I would have liked to include the Kate McLaren which come Sedge time is really deadly when fished off the top dropper. And even better with a Black Polypropylene body instead of Seals fur.
