Bit of a pig to tie on HMH devices since the boar bristle tends to splay at unfortunate angles being hard up against the tube-fixing mechanism I know what you mean, but it really isn't a problem. Tie in a tag and then put the boar bristle in and you seem to splay the bristle the same, not sure it matters that much. Once you lay the bristle over the tag tie it in with a few waxed turns and you're done if you make your way forward, if you whip back to the tag the bristle will flair. Just keep going forward and then you wont make the bristle flair up ATB Ade |
