Hi mo, dark golden is the colour on his pedigree, i had a liver cocker who's mother was bread in wales. Nice pic laxdale, do you use the dog for picking up? I use him mostly when I am goose shooting. I also do a few days beating woodcock with him. Most commonly heard command is "Move and your dead".

braw dogs tony and looks like they are enjoying themselfs from the pics .where do you do the beating mate . some braws birds they bringing back . how many do you have in total [in the pack] the spaniel with the white breasts look like butter wouldnt melt in her mouth .but im sure shes the trouble maker ;D

I went out this afternoon to do some redd counting in the middle of nowhere. On the way the dog found a grouse. Here he is pretending to be a pointer.

There are still fish cutting redds which is very late for us. Tony.............do you use the Labrador for retreiving lost spaniels? He looks embarrased to be getting his picture taken with them. ;D

Mid November until mid December is when salmon normally spawn over here. We have had lowish water levels during the spawning season then low water AND a freeze. This has kept fish out of many of the very small burns which were either too low to allow access to salmon or would have left the fish easy prey to otters. Still, better late spawning than no spawning at all!
