I dont think its what Martin thought it was. It would bare the makers mark which would have been stamped on the fins. correct, but thats for yous to guess

If the fin is stamped it probably begins with H and there's a treble hook missing

Well spotted Laxdale, it is indeed the blade of a 2gr Abu Droppen.While having a rummage threw an old ' cutlery box' of mine i came across 3 of these the other 2 being silver and copper bladed with the body's being much more basic than the one iv pictured.Its a shame the actual ' Droppen' is missing as iv never seen such tiny spinners before.
