well it was an early start again upto loch earn, gets to comrie and the temp drops to -3 bloody frozen, heads to the south side road next to the caravan park 2 mins along from the golf club, we fished at that point from back ae 6 till hof 8, 1st in to a fish was ma dads pal wee broonie 11 inches, returned, straight after that was my dads turn about the same size and would take about 2 to the lb, so i decided a re-cast with a worm and a gulp ball was in order, and after about 3 mins in the water i got a stonkin bite pulled the rod in, ir turned out to be a fin perfect rainbow 13 inches long, this is the finest rainbow i have ever seen, the spots the fins, all full and full of reds blues silvers. BEAUTIFULL!! so i decided to re-bait my maggot swim feeder and clips the bail arm back and casts out all i heard was ping! snapped rod!! the maximum casting wait for this rod was 40gm! the swim feeder weighed only 20! was an abu garcia diamond crest. only bought at the end of last year. so cut it down about 2 inch to let the top half that snapped of fit into the bottom. casted it back in and got another great rod pulling in bite lol but never came of anything. decided a move and went to the other side, not far from the shop. fished there for about 2 hours and my dad caught a wee rainbow a typical wee stockie worn fins the usal on a stockie, was caught on a dexter wedge, desparado came to mind! lol was bloody roasting had 2 hours here and decided another move right at the other side of the nets, al that came of that was one bite for the 3 of us. so 4 fish caught 2 broonies 2 rainbows, all returned
