Nice pics Stevie. What methods were you using? At least you've had a bite - I'vebeen to the Tay a couple of times, the Isla 3 times (with permit lol) and not so much as a knock. I even went to rescobie loch which is full of rainbows with people either side of me making their limit and me? nothing! I'm obviously doing something wrong. Trying again probably on the Tay (maybe S. Esk) on Wednesday. Heres hoping.

You must be using the wrong bait Stevie. Try using a wee buble float on the end, then a three foot cast to a dropper then a foot to the next dropper and a foot to a three way swivel on which you fix a 6inch length of nylon and a good sized weight. Bait up your droppers and of you go it canny fail for rainbows or brownies! Its been tried and tested on many waters!!!! It keeps the baits off the bottom at this time of year, the fish should hook themselves. Just real them in!!!
