Hi Douglas of flymakers here, I also like this thread and have tried many outlets to see the quality and service the supply and have found most to be good. I have found if you buy on ebay you often don't get the better quality you find in the shops, check their feedback rating We pride ourselves with supplying good quality items at a fair price, fast delivery and offer a full 100% guarantee of a replacement or full money refund. thanks Douglas www.flymakers.freeserve.co.uk

I'll toss another very good 'e-tailer' State-side into the mix: Flyfishusa in Welches, Oregon. Mark's one of the largest fly only e-tailers in the US. If he doesn't have it, he will get same. As an aside, they ship all over the work, so sending stuff to the UK is a very normal procedure. (He even carries the 'how of it' on his web site. www.flyfishusa.com/Bye the bye, his weekly news letters are well worth the read. fae

Mick Bell of Bloke Rods is offering a 2 for 1 on his new Mashama hooks. www.mashamahooks.com/page1/page1.htmlI ordered some on-line on Friday night and received them today and have been impressed with the quality of both the service and the hooks. I bought Salmo doubles in silver and gold and they are a very good sub for Salars but, I think with a slightly less incurved point. Also bought standard doubles in black and they are very similar to code P's in a slightly lighter wire. All are visually consistent and good appearance and a sample have passed the 'ping' test. I'm very happy to recommend what seem super new hooks at a sensible price. Tight lines, Mike ps. I also rate his Trebuchet rods which are also superb quality. Other than a a satisfied customer I have no connection with this business.
