Bizarrely enough I was thinking about these lines the other day and did a quick search to see if they were stocked anywhere in the UK with no joy...
I remember reading some very good reviews when the Fall favourite was released, would also be interested to hear from anyone who has tried them?

Hi Scanny, all i can really tell you at this point is that they can make a line up for you, I am waiting on hearing back as i would like to make a cutom sink tip line for fishing medium depth rivers in the spring and autumn where extra long distance casting is not needed, i have been advised there lines are as good as carron and have done v well in some spey casting comps. I have a profile in mind ill stick with my carron and mackenzie floaters but fancy trying something different, I know shooting heads are great in the spring i have guideline, rio, sawada and vision but theres not many places in ireland or or the Tyne that need them and i find presentaion can be sometime compromised on shallow rivers, ill post some more deatils when I have them mate.

They are not doing custom lines at the moment, they are made by rio but are very well regarded, one line takes tips the others is more for a true spey line, the tips line is supposed to be excellent at turning over proper sinkting tips and is a bit like a long skagit or short multi tip, very good reports on these fishing lines. However Steve Godshall will make any cutom line you want waiting on more details.

Hi Guys
Patientely waiting on winter authority 70 should be in any day now. rio has a new spey line/head system coming out soon aswell, well worth a look at as i ,am led to believe after ordering nextcast line that the loops on the rio lines will be better than on the nextcast lines.

i would get the rio i line for that scanny tried they are a good switch line also liked the very light afs on switch rods, havnt had time to test the lines out yet as it has been too windy to have a fair cast, but what has been sent across look excellent, sorry scanny there are no switch lines that i know, but you are welcome to try any of the other ones. Best wishes Corrib

Hi Scanny
If I were you i would go for the new rio lines that are just out in the states they have made a new multi tip line for swith rods it looks mean for they wee rods i,am tempted to get a switch rod and one of the new rio lines infact i,am going to order a few of these new lines they have out they have a similar speyline to the nextcast winter authority line but the rio is more powerfull to handle the 15ft windcutter tips plus they come in head versions aswell as full lines.

Thanks Mr Hingin I seen the rio video on YouTube for the Steelhead Scandi multi tip and it looks great. I was tempted to order the floating 450grain one this week. I was out today trying a 7/8 Afs on a 11' #8 z axis and after a little time to get used to it, I found it very nice. Very tippy, but nice for getting between tree branches. I was surprised, get a good bit of overhang out and you can get some good distance out it for a baby rod. Can I chop 15' of the Afs and use a 7wt 10' versitip on it to do until guide import the steelhead scandi's? Cheers
