No idea where im going, never fished it before. Will be fishing flying c, toby and floating devon. Where are the more productive stretches? Im happy to go a wander and find my way but would like to know roughly where to start and which direction to head.

This height of water you are probably best going to the bridge ( below the marks on the feet of the bridge) at Blantyre or Grayfriars. All the pools are marked on the map on the main website on the contacts page, you can zoom in and out left and right ,and scroll up and down

Get the Flea rod out Sean and I'll send you a google map of a few spots to try.
I would meet show you round but I'm up on the North Esk working on my tan and enjoying a BBQ with no water there.

Ive just started learning to speycast so as you can imagine im not very good yet, for the time being I think I'll follow lochmor's advice and start out around Blantyre with a spinning rod, but once my casting improves I'll be happy to flyfish it. Until then good luck with the tan! Cheers guys
